Terms And Conditions

Definitions

"This license" refers to all versions of the DirecTrace Library before revision 1.499.

"The product" refers to the compiled version of the DirectTrace library/program.

"The driver" refers to the compiled version of the DirectTrace library/program, availaible as a DLL file.

"The owners of DirectTrace" refers to the Copyright holders of the DirectTrace library and software.

Licensing

Users of the DirectTrace library do not have any intellectual rights over the DirectTrace Libray and product.

Unless explicitly granted by the owner(s) of DirectTrace, you must not make any attempt to reverse-engineer, re-distribute, copy, clone, modify or alter in any way the DirectTrace components.

Users will own intellectual rights over any programs that make use of the library, provided that the program does not make any attempt to reverse-engineer, re-distribute, copy, clone, modify or alter in any way the DirectTrace components.

Unless explicitly granted by the the owners of DirectTrace, only one installation on a shared memory computer is allowed at one time by a single license.

The DirectTrace library does not collect. communicate, or send any data to any piece of software others than either the DirectTrace driver itself or the programs making use of the DirectTrace driver.

Users must be aware before using the product that bugs are likely occur when occur in the DirectTrace driver, with may have dramatical consequences.

This License does not grant any rights for support before, during and after the product's life.

If DirectTrace has been used for producing a scientific publications, then appropriate acknowledgement should be made.

Liability & Warranties - Read very carefully!

The owners of DirectTrace do not warranty any normal or proven behavior for the DirectTrace product.

The DirectTrace library is not designed for Critical Systems.

The DirectTrace library must not be used in Critical Systems.

The DirectTrace library must not be used to generate images that can affect someone's health.

The owners of DirectTrace are not liable for any problems that result from both the installation and the use of the DirectTrace library.

The owners of DirectTrace are not liable for any virus infection, conflict with other softwares, computer overheating and program crashes.

The owners of DirectTrace is not intended to act as a virus, a Trojan, or a malware. The owners of DirectTrace recommend the use an anti-virus before using the library and driver.
